EXECUTION

 

FIRST LOOK. Sheridan and Seth wanted to do a first look at the famous Shangri La stairs. To turn this vision into life, the hotel was contacted for photoshoot permission. At any hotel, you can take unlimited photos in the privacy of the room that you booked. But if you’d like to take photos at other places (stairs, lobby etc) permission is necessary.

We scheduled 20 minutes for a first look and couple’s portraits. Tim helped the couple with posing and explained how it should be done. He found the best spot where to stand and where to kiss. Tim helped the couple with acting so that the first look is emotional and memorable, and Sheridan and Seth do not feel awkward in front of the camera.

CEREMONY. Our team did everything so the ceremony is memorable and magical. We wrote a romantic script, and the couple added their personal vows. We picked the best time of the day to have great light for ceremony photos. It was very important to choose a specific time gap because we expected a sunny day. And we planned the ceremony at a specific time without direct sunlight shining on the couple’s faces. Because if you randomly plan the ceremony during a sunny day and don’t check the weather, there is a chance to squint in photos. And of course, we avoided that.

BOUQUET AND MAKEUP. Sheridan sent us her inspirational photos and we did exactly what she asked for. We really loved all her ideas, and especially we loved making her bouquet.

We know how to get the best white roses on the market. And the bouquet was the right size, to work in harmony with the bride’s dress.

For makeup, our artist Yana recreated Sheridan’s inspirational images but slightly adapted the look for Sheridan’s hair. Yana made the hairstyle a little stronger, not too loose. Because a windy day was expected.

PARIS PHOTOSHOOT. We planned the photoshoot including the bride’s favorite locations: River Seine, Louvre, Gallery. And one additional location, Petit Palais.

 

We always try to make a post-ceremony photoshoot a pleasant and chill experience. We take care of transportation and parkings. We make sure we arrive on time at every location and choose specific streets to avoid traffic.

 

When it comes to posing, Sheridan and Seth asked for help and full directions. Which is normal, everyone is asking about guidance.

Sheridan said: “In general, we like natural lighting, relaxed poses, and a combination of wider and close-up photos. Both formal and informal photos and natural expressions”.

We did closeup portraits, and panoramic photos to showcase elegant Paris locations the couple picked. How do you think we did? We really like the end result, and the photoshoot came out exactly like envisioned.
