HOW TO PLAN AN ELOPEMENT AT THE RITZ PARIS
Article by — Helene, Paris elopement planner, helping brides since 2012
Ritz Paris is one of the world's most prestigious luxury hotels.
WHERE IS THE RITZ PARIS LOCATED?
The Ritz Paris is located on the iconic Place Vendôme. Place Vendôme is the most beautiful square in Paris. It is surrounded by stone buildings, and famous high-end stores. Dior, Chanel, Cartier, Patek Philippe, Van Cleef & Arpels.
Why its location is important? It is the most opulent and luxurious location in Paris. There are many other exclusive neighborhoods, but this is the one. The crème de la crème. The fanciest of them all.
Welcome to the art de vivre à la française, the french art of living!

AS A COUPLE, WHY SHOULD YOU BOOK IT?
For the elopement: the unique elopement package for two, at one of Ritz ballrooms. For those, who want an opulent and prestigious look for their wedding. At a very affordable price.
For the photoshoot: the best interior design for your getting-ready photos. European elegance.
ELOPEMENT CEREMONY
Ritz Paris is the only hotel that offers a super easy-to-plan elopement ceremony at one of their ballrooms. Many hotels in Paris have ballrooms, but they are available for big weddings only and 30-guest dinners and are very expensive, the whole ballroom rent will be from €20k.
Ritz Paris offers €3800 package. A great elopement package, just for two. Ballroom rent, ceremony near a decorated fireplace, champagne, and dinner or lunch will be €3800, taxes included. And you don't need to book a room, just this package. I think it's a good deal, as a planner I don't know anyone else who does this.
Ritz Paris is the only hotel that is open to small elopements and knows how to decorate them.
And here is a demonstrational photo. The photo is not ours, the Ritz event manager kindly offered this photo for a demonstration of how they decorate this elopement package:

Here is a package offer they kindly sent me on January 2023. This package is available all time, except the Paris Fashion week (March and September). You can book our Carousel package and upgrade it by having a ceremony at Ritz.

WHERE AND HOW CAN WE TAKE PHOTOS?
Many couples are in love with the French elegance, the 71 suites with a style that have the names of Coco Chanel, F. Scott Fitzgerald or Marcel Proust, who were at the Ritz "as if at home". To take photos there, you have to be a client of the Ritz Paris hotel, and book a room for at least one night. You can use booking.com or book directly through their website.
Photoshoot permission is necessary. This is very important, after the booking has been confirmed, you need to send them an email to request a photo shoot permission. Something like “Hello, we just booked the room under the name (insert your name here) and we would like to ask for a photoshoot permission for this date”. It’s free and you don’t need to pay anything additional. But you need to warn them since it’s a 5* hotel and security is very strict. They respect the privacy of their clients so no impulsive photo shoots in public areas.
Here are some of our favorite places for photos at the Ritz Paris hotel:
In your room, we photograph details, bridal portraits with accents on hair and makeup, the dress put on
Getting ready photos feel like the beginning of a story, and a journey of your day. Here we capture the quiet moments and the little details
Ritz Paris has a selection of their own branded Champagnes. We can take a photo of the two of you opening a bottle and cheering with this Champagne
Color palette is perfect
When we are done with the room, we can recreate a garden first look if the weather is good. Ritz Paris has a secret indoor garden, inside the hotel:
We can recreate a first look right here next to the fountain, or in the middle of the garden
And to finish, some photos in the hotel lobby:

The hotel lobby is full of people, but as usual, we edit everyone out
